Can you convert bike wheel to quick release?

Why did my bike tire go flat?

Can you use quick release on thru axle?
The best and easiest solution is to swap out your quick release fork for a thru axle fork. In most cases, you will also need a new front hub that is compatible with thru axles. 15 mm is the most common diameter for front thru axles. There are also adapters that allow you to use a thru axle hub in a quick release fork.
How do I know what size my bike hub is?
Here’s how to measure these distances:
- Figure out the distance between the lock nuts (where the hub sits in the dropouts) – 100 or 110 mm is typical for the front.
- Take that number and divide by 2.
- Then measure from the flange to the lock nut.
