Which brake is front on bike?
Generally bicycles feature the front brake controlled by lever on the left hand side of the handlebar and the rear brake by the right hand lever. Proper braking technique, especially when new to cycling is applying the rear brake, followed by the front brake.
What is the difference between quick release and thru axle?
Thru axles attach the wheels more securely and reduce the likelihood of wheel attachment caused by human error. Quick release axles allow for more flex in the front end of the bike, which hurts handling- Disc brakes can cause the fork arms to flex.
Why are my bike brakes sticking?
Some brake pads have a “lip” that sticks out on the side closest to the hub. This is caused by uneven wear and you will need to file or sand it down if there is a lip. If you’ve worn your pads down around the lip, then they might get stuck in the rim.
